Abhiyaan Foundation believes that Sports are a transformative tool which cuts across culture, gender and class barriers. It helps us in the overall growth of an individual. Sports are no longer seen as a hurdle in academic achievements but it now supplements education by embedding certain values. It imbibes several moral values such as honesty, discipline, fighting spirit and many more that helps a child to become man of strong moral values and character. The values gained through sports cannot be quantified in money as it embeds vista of new opportunities for a child’s future.
Researchers have proved that there is deep relation between sports and studies as well as relation between sports and various aspect of human life. The research proves that if a child is put through sports from early childhood, a competitive instinct takes root in him that becomes a long time companion. It helps him to withstand pressure both physical and mental and embed in him an attitude of taking things in right earnest and helps in overall growth of the child’s Personality.
There is a huge gap in provision of quality & state of art sport infrastructure at various places in the country due to resource constraint. We at Abhiyaan Foundation, thereby, assist Educational Institutions with open spaces for developing quality Sports Infrastructure free of cost and also help students with quality training to participate at various tournaments at State & National level. We also assist Educational Institutes to identify the right talent to connect to National Sports Talent Portal of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. We try to evaluate every school child & make sincere effort to connect the children up to 8 years and above that with various games including athletics to Government portal based upon his interest in different sports. |
